League Age 8 Registration Notice

This message is for league age 8 year old baseball players registered for Spring baseball who are interested in “playing up” at the Cal Ripken A/AA division.  Your player's age automatically registered them for the Farm division and every season we offer league age 8 year olds the opportunity to participate in evaluations for the A/AA division (9 and 10 year olds).

League age 8 are birthdays from May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016.

This is optional for 8 year olds. Families can decide if they want their player to have an opportunity to participate with the older group.  The majority of 8 year olds play in the Farm division.  A small group of 8 year olds “play up”.  After evaluations, if an 8 year old is not selected to the A/AA division, they will be added to a Farm division roster.

See also the information about evaluations that was sent out to players registered in A/AA.  Please review and note that, unlike 9 and 10 year olds, our 8 year old group is not guaranteed a spot at the A/AA level.

After reading the "League Age 9 & 10 Registration Notice," please email me if you’d like to be included in our evaluations on the evening of Wednesday March 27.

Thank you

-Marc
