2008 FALL BASEBALL REGISTRATION BY MAIL OR AUGUST 23, 2008 FROM 9AM-12PM AT THE PAVALLION

The following improvements will be completed by the start of the 2008 Season:

Lights have been installed on Perkins and Hale Field and will be available for the 2008 season. Funded by town impact fees

LAFA Funded Projects; Your LAFA dollars at work:

The Presidents Field and McDermott Field Press Box has been  re-sided and a new roof put on.

McGinnis will have two new dugouts constructed in place of the old dugouts and a new Press Box added.

McGinnis Backstop will get new heavier posts to extend the height and new heavier gage fabric will replace the old fabric.

Presidents Field was converted into a 70' Diamond only and will be ready for 2008 season.

Hale, McDermott infield sod repaired

Hale Field Press Box painted

Pavilion painted

Concession Stand painted

Netting installed between Founders and Hale Fields

Backstop netting repaired on McDermott Field

Fencing on various Fields will be replaced

2000 Improvements 

·          90’ Diamond: Irrigation system and sod infields

·          Presidents Field: Irrigation system and sod infields

·          Retaining wall and safety rail between Presidents and 90’ Diamond to create spectator viewing area

·          Pavilion 

2001 Improvements 

·          McGinnis Field: Irrigation system and fencing

·          Founders Field: Irrigation system with hose, infield sod, new clay, 6’ fence around field and scoreboard

·          Founders Field Press Box: Sided soffits, painted exterior walls, new sound system with wireless

microphone and sheet rocked interior.

·          Presidents Field: extended backstop down the first base line for spectator protection, extended retaining wall

for increased spectator viewing area, repaired infield sod and outfield grass, wireless microphone for sound system.

·          90’ Diamond: Repaired infield sod and over seeded outfield

2002 Improvements 

·          Rookie Field: Irrigation system and over seeded

·          Retaining wall with safety rail between Founders and Utility for spectator viewing area

·          Utility Field: Dugouts with roofs

·          Paved road from Parking lot to in front of Concession  Stand

·          New 40' Equipment trailer

2003 Improvements

·          Utility Field: Irrigation system and over seeded

·         Utility Field: New sod and clay surface in the infield

·          Utility Field: Outfield fence

·          Perkins: New Dugouts with roofs

·          Perkins: New 6' Fence in front of Dugouts that wraps around to form two new bullpens

2004 Improvements

·          Retaining wall on Forrest

·          6' Outfield fence on Perkins

·         6' Outfield fence on Forrest

·          Raising left field corner Presidents with new 6' fence

2005 Improvements

·          Foundation  for press box and meeting room on Utility

·          Concession stand equipment updates

·         Safety rail on Forrest

·          2 New Softball fields with backstops

·         New scoreboard on Utility

2006 Improvements

·          Cement floor and construction of press box on Utility

·          Concession stand renovation

·         Scoreboards on Perkins and Presidents

·          Retaining wall behind Forrest field backstop

·         Grading of incline behind backstop of upper softball fields

·         Grading incline and clearing trees behind backstop of 90' diamond

·         Grading behind leftfield fence of 90' diamond to create spectator area

·         Clearing of trees on the first base side of Perkins

·         New sod and grading of infield for water drainage on Utility

·         New sod to sculpture infield on Presidents

2007 Improvements

·          Press Box on Perkins

·          Electrical sub panel added to accommodate concession stand and new scoreboards

·         Electrical main panel repair in Founders Press Box

·          Retaining walls added to limit run off by walls on Forrest and Hale

·         New scoreboards on Forrest and McGinnis donated by Coca Cola

·         Grading and new sod of McDermott infield

·         Replacement of Backstop on McDermott

·         Batting cage installed on Perkins
