ABOUT THE JUNIOR LANCERS

The Junior Lancers baseball club was established as an affordable program designed to develop future Londonderry High School baseball players.  Playing together with your friends from town starting at a young age is invaluable.  The goal is to build  a core group of baseball players at each age group to ensure the strength of the High School program for years to come.  Many members of the successful LHS team have been playing together since their days in the Junior Lancers program. 
 

We are a non-profit under the umbrella of LAFA organization.  The tuition for each team includes the various costs of the season (winter facility rental, league fees, umpires, baseballs etc.). Our coaches are volunteers.
 

The schedule is as follows:  Starting in the beginning of January there will be one winter workout during the week and one winter workout on the weekend through late March.  These workouts are key to the players being ready to hit the ground running come spring.  The core of this program is focused around the winter workouts.  Attendance at these workouts is a VERY important part of your player’s development. 
 

In the spring we will play a season of 14-18 competitive games followed by playoffs of 4-6 games.  Most games are doubleheaders on Saturdays and/or Sundays.  We schedule accordingly to allow players to participate in both Junior Lancers and the LAFA rec games.  The season typically raps up the first or second week in June.  Junior Lancers competes in the Perfect Game  league against other teams from New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.  We are playing against other programs who pull kids from many different towns and charge much more to participate.  The competition is strong and our Junior Lancer teams compete at a high level.  
 

The total cost for the 2026 season at the 8U-12U level will be roughly $850-$1000 (Plus uniform for new players).  Our older teams (13U & 14U) can expect around $1200-$1300 to cover the increase in umpire fees and larger dome space reservations.   Additional fees may be required to cover Tournament entry fees separate from the Spring League.

Teams based on date of birth:

If your player makes the team you will sent a roster offer to sign via Sports Engine.  This will include a non-refundable deposit of $250 to confirm your spot.  The team fee is due in full before the end of 2025.  Teams begin winter workouts in January 2026.
