We are saddened to announce the passing of Mark Bondra, the LAFA Secretary.
For those who didn't know Mark, he was an incredibly special person. He served for many years on our Board and was always working on LAFA issues behind the scenes with registrations, website work, communications, and more.
While he was quiet at times, people always commented as to what a nice guy he was and how he showed a genuine interest in everyone around him, even those whom he had just met. He always had a smile and a nice thing to say about people.
Our treasurer noted that Mark quietly paid for many LAFA registrations over the years for people who could not afford it. The recipients were never aware of his generosity.
We have attached the obituary celebrating Mark's amazing life. We thank him for his many years of service to LAFA and the Town of Londonderry.
He will be missed.
